History
MITI started as a metadata solution provider to large corporations and government agencies largely through consulting. MITI rapidly focused as the leading metadata component provider to the largest data integration, business intelligence and database vendors which represents over 90% of its revenues today.
MITI's OEM business started in 2005 with Cognos Business Intelligence solution for its new ReportNet modeling tool (now Cognos 8 Framework Manager). Later that year, Meta Integration received the Technology Partner Award Of The Year by Cognos, and DM Review's readers nominated Meta Integration as a company that provides total quality customer satisfaction in its December 2005 issue on "Readership Merit Awards.
The first OEM agreement with Cognos in the business intelligence was quickly followed by data integration vendors like Informatica for its PowerCenter Data Integration, and Metadata Management software. Meta Integration components for metadata import/export components are now available by OEM Agreements within the tools of major software vendors.
MITI is also involved with all relevant metadata standards, including the Object Management Group as an influencing member (CWM and UML XMI). The strong collaboration from MITI's partners is allowing them to provide users with an unprecedented level of detailed metadata integration.
